Hi there

I am up late feeding my baby and thinking of Lucas.  My memories of Lucas are as a young child.  He was always such a happy soul.  You could never forget that smile.  I often reflect on the times we (Caroline) and I had teaching Luke different things like how to walk and talk.  Between us, Luke and I not only shared many experiences as children.  It is very strange, but last year there were many unique and special coincidences we shared: 

• Apparently, my baby was due to be born the same day as Luke's daughter
• If we (my husband & I) were to have a daughter, we planned to call her Charlize  
• My son, Jesse, arrived on Luke's birthday, 20 July and Luke left this world on my birthday, 8 July

I am so glad my son shares his birthday with Luke.  I will always light an extra candle for Luke and make a wish that Luke is Jesse's special angel looking over him each year.
